Hengrove Park is currently part of a major regeneration programme which facilities include a Café, Play park and Wheels park.
Boasting the biggest free play park in the south of England, Hengrove Park is a sure bet to please the whole family. One of the obvious highlights is the 12 metre high dome housed jungle play experience. There is also Sand and Water play for toddlers. BMX riders, skateboarders and in-line skaters can get their fix at the large wheels park. The park also features a large centralized grass space and activity zones with challenging equipment. Some of the facilities featured at Oldbury Court Estate include a Café kiosk, Childrens play park, Tea hut and separate picnic spots.
Oldbury can accommodate large gatherings with their large expanse of grassed space, two football pitches and one cricket pitch. If you’re looking for open areas for outdoor activities, this is the park for you. If you’re looking for something more intimate for you and your family, try the Frome Valley Walkway or cast your line and fish in one of the many designated areas along the river.
Blaise Castles Estate – Henbury Rd, Bristol BS10 7QS
